Windows and Doors

When it comes to window and door glass, there are several types and options to consider, each with its own benefits:

Types of Glass

  1. Clear Float Glass: This is the standard, smooth glass used in many windows.
  2. Double and Triple Glazed Glass: These units consist of two or three layers of glass with inert gas in between, providing excellent insulation.
  3. Low-Emissivity (Low-E) Glass: This glass has a special coating that allows sunlight in but prevents heat from escaping, improving energy efficiency.
  4. Laminated Glass: Made by bonding layers of glass with a plastic layer in between, this type is very strong and often used for safety.
  5. Tempered Glass: This glass is heat-treated to be stronger and, if broken, shatters into small, less dangerous pieces.
